Ladybird’s nest has been in the making long before Allison Jayjack could have possibly imagined. As a little girl she would play dress up for hours and hours, as many of us ladybirds did. Digging for treasure through her grandmother’s sea of fancy frocks, Allison fashioned a keen eye for detail and a curiosity to know the story for each individual, beautiful piece. To no surprise, her own personal style was created from those very nostalgic photographs that were cherished in her mind. What began as just a fanciful game of dress up led Allison to immerse herself in the fashion world.

She learned how to wardrobe, keep up on current trends, and all the while, she held fast to the treasure huntress mentality when combing through thrift stores, estate sales, and flea markets in order to bring the old and the new together.

Having taken flight to live and work in cities such as New York City, Chicago, and Toronto, the ladybird has landed here in the Short North in Columbus, Ohio. Allison has brought her treasures, old and new, to share with all of us. She offers established designers such as Built by Wendy, Graham and Spencer, Habitual, Levi’s, Rag and Bone, Trovata, along with new talents, Claridge and King, MinkPink, Patterson J. Kincaid, Sophomore, in addition to a wide selection of vintage jewelry, handbags, scarves, and garments.
